We love Salduna and will visit at least once if we're in the area however, we had beds and a meal, not cheap but worth it and this time we were asked when paying the bill "do you want to pay in euros?" We said yes of course and were presented the terminal which we selected yes. The question was actually "do you want to pay in gbp" so was misread by the waitress which ended up with us paying 12 euros more. This type of transaction benefits the bank and the merchant so make sure you read the terminal carefully before selecting the option.
