Anantara By The Sea Beach Club

This is honestly one of my favorite places in Marbella. The service here is among the best you’ll find anywhere in the area everyone is genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always makes you feel at home.The food is outstanding. You can really tell they use the highest-quality ingredients, and every dish is consistently excellent. In terms of value for money, it’s hard to think of a better place.Another big plus is the valet parking, which makes everything so much easier, especially during the busy season. The cocktails are also fantastic perfectly made and a great match for the relaxed atmosphere. If you’re looking for a beach club with loud DJs and a party scene, this isn’t it. This is the place to unwind, enjoy an amazing meal, spend quality time with family or friends, and take in the beautiful views, great music, and the laid-back vibe on one of Marbella’s best beaches. Magnificent! One of the best beach clubs in the Marbella-Estepona area. Excellent food, exceptional service, and very nice sun loungers and beach service. Revisited today. The restaurant has improved in terms of food and service; however, the perfectly arranged sun loungers of yesteryear have disappeared, replaced by a dreadful mess of loungers strewn about haphazardly, which completely detracts from the restaurant's elegant ambiance. A shame, Marbella's most elegant beach club has been turned into a beach bar.

Rice with lobster and very high-quality fish. Very friendly service, eager to ensure you have a great experience. We were a table of six with two children and enjoyed a lovely meal overlooking the sea. The grilled fish was delicious, and the rice was excellent too.

Imagine this picture - you're in Spain, drinking Pina colada on the Mediterranean Sea and you're listening to the excruciatingly depressing country music. For almost two hours. Anything wrong with this picture? Maybe it's just me, but after travelling half a world to escape from the trashy Calgary Stampede and its sleaziness, last thing I had expected was to find that garbage music here again, yet it happened. The staff didn't want to change the music to a more appropriate, lively beach club house you'd probably hear in 99.9999% of other beach bars - apparently, even after paying 200 euros for three sunbeds and a few pina coladas, our tastes were not as important as the refinded musical palates of the sophisticated clientele inside (sic!). Speaking of palates, we also visited the adjunct restaurant for a brunch buffet - my wife and I paid 240 euros but found half the dishes that weren't lidded, had flies circling around and really slow service that frequently forgot to take the plates or have get us new cutlery. That's even before mentioning that maybe 20% of staff speaks relatively understandable English which I can't really comprehend for a restaurant adjoined with a five-star hotel. The only bright spot here was the very polite, kind, helpful and accommodating young lady serving at the outdoor terrace - it was a pleasure being served by her. She single handedly is responsible for the 3 stars for Service (otherwise ot would be a 1.5 star rating at best). The car valet was also very polite and helpful but we interacted with the young gentleman for maybe 90 seconds in total. The were other issues but I don't feel like expending more energy sullying this place. I can only recommend avoiding this place - other places are more deserving of your money.
