Unfortunately, we were mainly disappointed by the service and the very unfriendly treatment by the hostess. The food is fine and the place looks beautiful, but it was precisely the hospitality that left a lot to be desired for us. We were a group of 14 people and frequently had to seek the attention of the staff ourselves. Orders were sometimes cut short halfway through, meaning we had to wait again. Not ideal, but still manageable. What really tipped the scales for us was the way we were treated with our 4-month-old baby. There are no baby changing facilities, and when our baby had a dirty diaper, we looked for a quiet spot near the entrance ourselves, out of sight of other guests. We specifically wanted to avoid disturbing other diners with this. Subsequently, we were addressed by a hostess in a very unfriendly and accusatory tone, who even suggested that we should have changed the baby on the sofa in the middle of the restaurant. When I explained why we specifically did not want to do that, there was absolutely no understanding, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. A lovely place with great food, but hospitality is also part of the overall experience. The service could be better, and the way we were treated as young parents really crossed a line for us. That is why, unfortunately, we would not be having lunch or dinner here again anytime soon.
