Wonderful 30th birthday celebration at Bono Beach! I couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate my 30th. From the start, everything was so seamless and easy to organise. I reached out via WhatsApp to enquire and secure the date in advance, and Bea was fantastic - really helpful, accommodating and quick to respond throughout. There are two set menus to choose from, and they were really flexible with swaps and additions. The menus are also on their website, which helped narrow down my options when I was looking at venues. Being able to sort everything over WhatsApp made the whole planning process really straightforward. They sent me photos of our table, answered my many questions, and were happy to agree to every request. They can also bake a birthday cake, or you can bring your own for a corkage fee (I was happy to just stick candles in the dessert platter that was already included!). We paid the deposit in advance to secure the booking, and then paid the outstanding balance plus any on the day additions at the end of the meal. Bono Beach itself is a gorgeous beach club. It’s super chic, modern and really well kept. Gigi and the team on the day were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly, attentive and helpful, and they made us feel really looked after. I arrived a little early to set up the table and they were more than happy for me to do so. We never felt rushed and could just enjoy a long, relaxed lunch with my 14 guests, which was exactly what I wanted. The food was a real highlight. Everyone commented on how good it was and the portions were so generous. We had a generous selections of sharers to start, the mains plus sides, and fruit and dessert platters to finish. Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. There was more than enough food for everyone. We also ordered a few jugs of sangria for the table too. Overall, Bono Beach made my 30th really special and the whole day was so easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Just perfect and exactly what I had imagined! A huge thank you to Bea, Gigi and the whole team. I’d definitely recommend Bono Beach for a birthday or special occasion, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Marbella!
